Background
In 2019, Nicholas, a painter, was pulling out of an intersection when his car was hit by a drunk driver. He felt back pain almost immediately. He was told it was muscular and should settle within a few weeks, but six months later he was still in pain and taking more and more time off work.
At the same time, the insurer was calling him every second day. He was told he probably wouldn’t receive much and was encouraged to settle quickly.
I was getting phone calls from the insurance company every second day, and it was very, very distracting. It was starting to put a lot of stress on me.
Nicholas Client
Nicholas approached another law firm, but they declined to take on his claim because they didn’t think it was financially viable for them. He then contacted C+F Lawyers.
How We Helped
From his first phone consultation, Roberto Clemente listened to Nicholas’s story, including his work history, and quickly recognised that he was entitled to considerably more than the insurer had suggested.
As soon as I finished my first phone consult with Roberto, I was immediately at ease. Straight away, I could sense that he wanted to get the best result possible for me moving forward.
Nicholas Client
Roberto took over the claim and handled all contact with the insurer, so Nicholas no longer had to deal with the calls and pressure himself.
The Outcome
With C+F Lawyers managing his claim, Nicholas could step back from the stress and focus on his recovery, knowing his claim was being pursued for its full value rather than settled early for less.
He just took over everything, handled the insurance companies. He was able to ascertain almost immediately that I was entitled to a lot more than what I was being told by the insurance company.
